GCBOA is proud to announce that Henry Zaborniak will be our Key Note speaker at our January 12th Dinner Meeting at Montgomery Inn. Henry continues GCBOA’s long list of outstanding speakers. Past Key Note speakers include Tom Ballaban, Mike Sanzere, Mike Mathis, Buddy Mayborg, Tom Clarke, and Steve Javie.
Mr. Zaborniak was a long time Basketball and Football official in Ohio, also working College Basketball and Big 10 Football. During that same time Henry was also an Associate Commissioner with Ohio High School Athletic Association. In that capacity he was in charge of the Officiating Program for all officials in Ohio. It will be very interesting to hear Henry’s thoughts on his own officiating career and how officiating has evolved in Ohio over the last 25 years.
I would encourage everyone to attend this event, it is a great time just to get together and spend time with your fellow officials, hear a great speaker and have great food.
