Matt Velten has been officiating as a High School basketball official since 1993 and the Collegiate level since 2000. In his 12th year with GCBOA, Matt serves in the role of the Secretary of the association, and has done so since 2004.

Matt has officiated 3 boys OHSAA Final Fours, 2 OHSAA girls Final Four games, and has been to the state arena every year since 1998.
